Frequently Asked Questions

What is the St Barnabas School Parent Foundation?

The St Barnabas School Parent Foundation raises funds to provide an annual monetary gift to teachers and staff to bridge the gap between their Archdiocese-mandated salaries and the salaries received by their public school counterparts. These efforts will be instrumental in the recruitment and retention of first-rate teachers and staff.

Is the Foundation a part of St. Barnabas School or Parish?

No, the foundation is it’s own non-profit organization, established and run by parent volunteers, completely separate from the Church and the School. The Foundation does share a common goal with both, which is the long-term success of St. Barnabas School.

How can I help?

Financial support and donations of time and talent are greatly appreciated. Please email sbparentfoundation@gmail.com

How is this different from the Capital Campaign?

The Capital Campaign was an Archdiocese-led initiative to enhance and add on to the facilities of the school and parish. The funds raised by the foundation will be used exclusively for the recruitment and retention of teachers.
